At Vize Eye, we are dedicated to providing expert, patient-focused eye care led by Mr Colin Vize, a highly experienced and respected ophthalmologist based in East Yorkshire. Mr Vize offers consultations and treatments at Spire Hesslewood Clinic, delivering specialist care in general ophthalmology, cataract surgery, lacrimal (tear duct) disorders, and oculoplastic surgery. Mr Vize’s practice is known for its breadth and depth, with a surgical caseload that is both varied and rewarding – from delicate eyelid procedures to complex orbital decompression for thyroid eye disease. He also carries out high-volume refractive cataract surgery on a weekly basis, helping patients regain clarity and confidence in their vision.

In addition to scheduled appointments, emergency consultations are also available, ensuring timely care when it matters most.

A passionate educator, Mr Vize plays an active role in training the next generation of doctors, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He also regularly lectures local GPs and optometrists, sharing his knowledge and supporting collaborative care in the wider community.
